Well yeah of course paying millions of dollars to bring Australian and Kiwi players to Canada to play in the English Super League is not sustainable. It is just a mining billionaire's toy.
Also, I wouldn't go as far as calling the product crap, more like okay. The English Super League is the 2nd best RL competition in the world and weird 13 man rugby is still rugby.

I actually don't mind League, a good game if league is enjoyable.
I watched some Wolfpack games. The level was poor, and I think the jump to the top of level is bigger than most people think.
