This seems a bit arbitrary, no? I am not necessarily disagreeing with the outcomes you forecast, but I could just as easily assert that Smith has the potential to rebound, while Talbot is now playing for his second straight season like a career backup goalie—something he was for a while before landing in Edmonton.
