Meh. You already carry a power cable. Just buy one that has the y attachment for headphones.
I don't see the big deal here. Until you break your current pair of headphones, just attach the adapter to them and leave it attached.
From here on out buy lightening headphones or go wireless. I am sure within a year most headphones will be sold in two models AUX and Lightning
