He is unreal when he has the puck, but I find the games I've watched this season, he has been cheating a lot, and his play without the puck is disengaged. I would venture to say, he plays like he almost expects the play to come to him, and doesn't go after it as he used to.
He also tends to shy away from physicality too, which might be understandable given he is slightly smaller. Next year hopefully he finds that next gear.

Bedard's play is concerning, team is bad, he's bad and a defenseman is leading the team in scoring. Not a good sign.
