My mom's doesn't do this and it's also a Bosch and its about 5-7 years older

I got that beat. Friends of mine have a Bosch and the beeping when the cycle is done? It doesn't stop until you open the door. So if you run it before you go to bed, it will begin beeping 2 hours later and will not stop.
The only reason I actually purchased my current Bosch is because I called him to figure out what unit he had so I could avoid it, but he told me the dinging is very specific to only his model, and the dishwasher itself was amazing.
