After limping into the playoffs last year without star forward Tyler Seguin, the Sharks overhauled their roster in the off-season after it became clear that the organization had very few assets.
The Goal: Field a competitive team and acquire some top end assets to start stocking the cupboard.
It's too early to tell if this team can compete but we are hoping to make the playoffs again. We like our top 6 and are hoping that Byf, Shattenkirk and J. Johnson can help Rask stop the puck on the back end.
It took awhile to get going last season so we are hoping to get off to a better start. We lost the season opener but no panic yet because it was against a good LA team, our nemesis from round 1 in the playoffs.
