So it looks like Parsons is highly unlikely to play this season. The Heat recently signed Garret Sparks to an AHL deal and he will probably back up Zagidulin.
Plus they have Andrew Shortridge signed, Wolf with the club until the WHL starts, Hayden Lavigne on PTO and Max Paddock on ATO.
Paddock is interesting that he is going to the AHL on a tryout as opposed to playing in the WHL as a 20-year-old since his rights don't belong to the Flames organization as a draft pick.
The Heat also signed Giorgio Estephan who was a teammate of Gawdin on Swift Current when they won the WHL Championship. Colton Beck was signed to a PTO.
