Yep. It's pretty glaring how uninvolved the D is in the offense. Not just in adding to the rush but also in zone. I rarely, if ever, see the defence sneaking down for shots or helping the cycle. I don't like/agree with this philosophy especially with the players we have on the back end. CGY should be getting contributions to offense like NSH gets from their defence.
Has to be a philosophical decision from the coach.
