Sticking with Sylvan Lake:
Pete's at the Beach, typical Canadian style food. Good pizza and good fish & chips. Best part about this place is the atmosphere - eclectic decor complete with vintage Pachinko machine, good music, and a great patio for people watching Lakeshore Drive. My long-time favourite restaurant in town.

Obee's is good for pizza too, but I feel like it's gone downhill a bit over the past few years.
