Well, the 24 month agreement isn't mandatory or anything- I can still stay month to month and either buy the gateway outright, rent it without a contract at $25/month, or do an easy own for $14/month.
Crazy that the easy own is essentially interest free.
My biggest problem with the contract is you lose all your bargaining power. If you are on the contract, you can't exactly threaten to cancel your plan if they don't give you a better rate.
