Interesting you think Gio gets a suspension.
I really don't think he does. He didn't go out of his way as much as he just braces for Aho to make contact...Aho skates his face right into Gio's shoulder. Im really not sure what the defender is supposed to do in that situation that doesn't fundamentally alter what the game itself is supposed to be about.
Maybe Im out to lunch on it, but truly I dont get what Giordano is supposed to do other than allow the space 15 feet in front of his net to be uncontested.
