I started a keeper league for this year only, currently I am in a daily 3 way battle for first. 8 player league and I picked last in the first round (snake order draft). 10 forwards, 4 defensemen, 2 goalies, and 2 reserves.

My biggest mistake was going with Lucic over Matt Moulson and Voracek (who wasn't even drafted). I also should have reconsidered my homer Kiprusoff pick, but I expected him to at least play a ton of games (his injury negated that). My saving grace is my team has been relatively healthy otherwise, but taking a rookie was probably a mistake too after seeing one day of games.
You could say taking Ovechkin was bad too, but my second choice would have been Karlsson, which would have cost me the pool in the end.
I love that I picked up Letang in like the 8th round; I can't believe he stayed on the board for that long. Good thing a couple guys kept taking Oiler bums instead.
