I would not be surprised if in this draft, 2 of the first 3 picks (assuming we have them on draft day) are used on D-men.
Obviously, you go for the most talent available, but with the forward ranks not looking too bad overall and the prospect pool for defensemen now consisting of Kylington, it might be necessary to devote a bunch of picks in that direction, even for the next couple seasons.
However, if the BPA is a forward or a goalie, then you go for it. Just like when Parsons fell into their lap.
