So when we got a dishwasher I got a miele during there promotion that gave a 10 year warranty. We love it and use it a lot cleans great when it’s finished the dishes are not perfectly dry but if you just leave it awhile they air dry no problem. It is extremely rare to find a dish not perfectly cleaned. When it does happen could be due to how we out the dishes in.
Mine is newer and has a chime. When it goes off at end of cycle, just pop the door open a crack. Drys very well. Oh and use jet dry.

The high ends have an auto pop feature. We passed, but it would be handy to have.

Very impressed with my Miele and I had a Jenn Aire before that was expensive but garbage. Jenn Aire can make awesome ranges and fridges but dishwasher stay away
