I've lived in BC for 20 years and I can recall barely a handful of incidences where someone said anything bad about Alberta or Albertans. Maybe the odd comment about Alberta drivers (same as BC drivers IMO), but nothing worth mentioning. Possibly some good-natured ribbing from time to time.
This whole BC hates Alberta thing is a totally fabricated victim complex. The reality is that a ton of British Columbians are transplanted Albertans, have relatives in Alberta, or don't really care much about Alberta. Frankly, it is bizarre to hear you mention it.
