Its sad that next week is the end, its such a quality show and when you look at cast interactions they really enjoy working together, and we got a reflection of that in the talk between Mack and Daisy (Quake)
Spoiler!
That discussion between Mack and Daisy was a real life kinda cool reflection, where Daisy dosen't want to let Shield which is her family go because she doesn't know who she is, and Mack assured her that she does know who she is.
It reflects that when this series started Chloe was considered the weak link in terms of acting with such a strong cast, and she's done a amazing job.
The interactions between Sousa and Daisy with the Quack thing was fun to.
But at the heart of this episode there was devastation as we approach the end, and Shield has been wiped off of the map.
There is devestation here, first of all when Malick goes into Simmons brain to find out where Fitz is hiding and we get some nice flashbacks including the conversation between Enoch, Fitz and Simmons where Enoch told them that to save the others they'd have to do the hardest thing they've ever done.
When they were building the time machine Fitz talked about taking a respite because time doesn't matter and they could spend time together, meanwhile Malick was trying to find hints to the location. We get hints that Fitz is sick, and then we have a scene with Gemma hugging Fitz and crying that she doesn't want to forget. When Malick gives up, and Simmons wakes up and goes to help Deke she asks "Who's Fitz".
I believe that Fitz is dead, I also believe looking at the last room they were in, that he's the implant that's in Simmons head, and when threatened by Malick he erased or deactivated himself.
Meanwhile we got a whole lot of Kora who is clearly on the crazy train, helped Sybil to locate all the Shield bases that the Chronicom hunters wiped out, learned her mother was dead and then returned to make out with Malick.
All this sets up an all or nothing final battle next week against Malick and Kora and the Chronicoms,
Great episode with some really neat almost like farewell moments and some devestating things happening.
I hate the fact that this show is ending after 7 solid years of TV.
