Matthews is better than Marner. He deserves to get more.
7 x 11 is more than fair for Marrner.
If he wants 5 years than 9.5 per is reasonable. He wants 10 million for 3 years. It's nuts.
Point and Ratanen are as good or arguably better than Marner. I don't know why he thinks he deserves as much as Matthews.
It will be interesting to see how this turns out but I think a lot of Leaf fans have soured on Marner because of his negotiation style. His camp was clearly leaking info to Dreger and trying to put threats out like he will go to Europe. No other RFA has been like this so it doesn't look so good on Marner's end.
