The Hurricanes have also issued a buyout to the league Torrey Mitchell in case he is not claimed off waivers. I don't want his cap hit to carry over to next season so I'm getting it down now. Since he is passed the 130 Game Day is unavailable to be signed by teams as a UFA till the Freee Agency Period. So any team thinking about not claiming him and signing him a couple days, that is not the case
