The tournaments for soccer and softball begin tonight! All events will be available to stream on the
CBC Olympic website, CBC Gem, and the CBC Olympics App.
The first event of the games begins at
18:00 and will see Australia facing off against the host Japanese team in softball, at
21:00 Italy and the USA face off in softball.
At
00:00 the Canadian content begins with Canada facing Mexico in the Opening Round of softball, on top of the streaming options this event is scheduled to be shown
live on CBC!
At
01:30 the opening match of the Women’s Soccer Tournament begins with a Group E matchup as Great Britain faces off against Chile, at
02:00 China plays Brazil. At
02:30 the defending World Cup Champion USA team starts their tournament against the 2016 Silver Medal winning Swedish team.
At
04:00 CanWNT will start the campaign to earn a medal for the third straight Olympics with an opening match against the host Japanese team at the Sapporo Dome, like the earlier softball game
this game is slated to be shown on CBC!
At
05:00 Zambia will face the Netherlands in Women’s Soccer, and at
05:30 Australia will play New Zealand.
