Okay ... so that was AMAZING!! Beating the top team in the league, in their barn, by 4 goals. THIS is fun hockey. This is why bringing in Mike Smith was so important. TB had all of the control for the majority of the first 2 periods and Smith kept them in it. What a nice luxury it is to have a goalie that can steal you a game on occasion. Thought the captain had an amazing game, didn’t hit the scoresheet but saw at least 4 or 5 elite level defensive plays. Other than that, Janko with sick mitts, Bennett grinds out a PP goal, perfect PK, top line still humming along (Ferland is not a top line player, amirite? Lol) and secondary scoring. Thursday nights are for the boys.
