I played it in college with a bunch of friends, we would usually drink Jack and play for hours. The problem with our game is that most of us created chaotic evil character and we spend most of our time trying to murder each other instead of continuing quests. The only reason to explore dungeons was to find more powerful weapons to kill each other.
