The Avs just keep on rolling with Landeskog and Rantonen getting 2 points each. Varlamov faced 38 shots and is 4-0-0 so far this season. Elliot wasn't bad in net for Philly as he faced 32 shots.

The Hurricanes defeat the Red Wings 3-1 as special teams was the key in this game. Carolina was 2/3 on the PP and a perfect 4/4 on the PK. Martinook scored a SHG for the Hurricanes.
