Philly was asking me this morning how Shipashev works. He is in the AHL right now but is a UFA.
I figured he signs shipashev to a grid deal but he can stay in the AHL because he is already there but because he is a 1-way deal his full cap applied to the AHL cap space.
Some clarification would be helpful.
