I haven't seen the new John Wick but I love that genre. Revenge\Vigilante...One man versus many bad guys. Some of my favourites off the top of my head:
The Death Wish Series- Number 3 is my personal favourite. Nonstop action and explosions with 80s punks as the villains.The new one with Bruce Willis is good too.
The Drop-Tom Hardy plays a regular guy who works at his uncle’s bar which as dealing with the Russian mafia. You know where it goes from there. Also has a puppy!
Blood Father-Mel Gibson plays a father who was locked up for the majority of his daughter’s life. She runs away while he is in prison and he is unable to find her. He gets out and is trying to live a straight life when one day his daughter contacts him to ask for help with some bad men she has been involved with.
THE Equalizer-Denzel Washington as a middle aged man working at a hardware store. All around good guy who fights the Russian mob.
