That's crazy. Guy got an expansion team to the finals.

Had a good follow up season last year. And the team has been fine this year considering their d-core is not great, and goaltending hasn't been amazing.

Here are Vegas team stats at 5v5.

Corsi For% : 53.4% (3rd)
High Danger Corsi: 53.7% (5th)
Expected Goals: 54.8 (2nd)
Shooting Percentage: 7.7% (25th)
Save Percentage: .910 (25th)

PP: 22.1% (9th)
PK: 78.8 (19th)

So good advanced stats but poor shooting and save percentage, and a poor PK have done them in. Even then though they are still in the playoff spot despite having the 4th worst PDO in the league.

I honestly think that Vegas is going to really regret this move.
