This is good to see. The Wednesday, January 29 battle of Alberta game has been promoted to be a national game! The game will be on Sportsnet 360 and Sportsnet (but not the Pacific channel) as part of a SN Wednesday Night hockey and TVA Sports french doubleheader.

The Canucks at Sharks game will remain as a regional game on the Pacific channel.

There were complaints about the Flames-Oilers being a regional game when Sportsnet released their televsion schedule back in August. I have been told that the change was due to what happened in the previous game (Tkachuk-Kassian), complaints, and having the first battle of Alberta game being regional. It is nice knowing Sportsnet corrected a big mistake, especially on one of their marquee nights.
