As cheesey as this is going to sound, when you watch that clip, everyone looks so happy, and wholesome. This was still a very western orientated place, with a bunch of guys making a name in the oil business. The City was just in its infancy of becoming this big corporate super city. Everyone to me back then seemed so down to earth and friendly compared to today. The City was clean, the old rumors about Calgary being a little "town" of 500,000 seemed so accurate.
