Canes did have a good season. 99 points in the deeper conference. Huge improvement over last year.

If anything the playoffs have kind of diminished the magnitude of this deal for the moment. Hanifin and Lindholm pretty much no showed for the Flames (they had company) while Ferland has hardly played. Hamilton has been productive but haven’t seen him play great in what I have watched.
