Oh yeah huge influence here. The Aussie economy is pretty much propped up by resource exports to China, Chinese property investors, and Chinese students.

Also a few years back the idiots running this country leased the Port of Darwin to the Chinese for 99 years. That’s right Australia’s most strategic port location is being run by China.
