Post trade deadline question :
For the amusement of non-playoff teams, coming in periodically to check and see how the season plays out, could they do side trades amongst themselves since there are no in-season ramifications? I'm not sure if anything would actually happen, but LA for example did have chatterings of a prospect swap that didn't come to fruition.
Happy to also leave things to the offseason, but curious anyway.
