This is why people are kidding themselves if they think Bennett has much trade value. GMs aren’t lining up to get their hands on a third-liner who is poor defensively. There’s a reason the guy has never got a sniff of the penalty kill in six seasons in the league.
Bennett is Garnet Hathaway without the defensive acumen.
