I've owned it for a few months and it's worth it at that price. The major issue (and source of early negative reviews) was that the AI players didn't have to worry about trains crashing into each other, but human players did. It resulted in a lot of frustration as your building price would be 5 times higher. That issue was recently patched, however, and the game is fairly fun. I don't think the game goes deep enough, but I'm a sim geek. The interface can be a little clunky as well.

I would give it a 6/10, but there is a lot of potential here.

I also picked up Transport Fever and am enjoying it. If you're a micromanagement fan, I would recommend it over Railway Empire.
