Looks like there's a
Family Dance Party at City Hall with a kid's countdown at 9. Can't vouch for it, but it sounds like it could be fun.
Also, has anyone done NYE at Olympic Plaza? Is there much to do besides skating, and do you know if it tends to be over-crowded?
