Let’s circle back to my example. Some people think blind auditions are the fairest way to select members in orchestras. Others believe they perpetuate inequality and should be replaced by race-based selections. Is one a more educated position than the other? I'm not a big orchestra guy, but I've literally never heard of this scenario. Is there really a driving debate in society about racial fairness in orchestras?
