Daniel Maggio is most famous for being the guy who knocked Brian McGrattan out cold in that frightening moment two years ago in the AHL. The 26-year-old has never played an NHL game and last year spent 33 games with the Orlando Solar Bears (ECHL). Let's face it, he's not here to make the Flames, but I would not be surprised to see him in the line-up in Edmonton on Monday night during the split squad games.
