I think they have some heavy shots. Stone for example. But even more important is someone that can handle the puck and see the ice, which is not what Stone does. He does not like the puck on his stick.
The Chris Pronger PP is hard to find IMO. Flames are trying to build a PP with lots of movement and passing that relies on goals from close in. That makes sense given where their talent is. It would be different with an Ovechkin launching one timers or Pronger blasting bombs.
Lindholm had shown a bit of an inclination to shoot from medium range but doesn’t seem like it’s happened lately.
