Superstore, as well as most fast food chains don't take it. Personally I try to shop at mom & pop shops, local contractors, etc. when I can so that alone is a non-starter.

I resolved that problem by buying superstore gift cards from gas stations and shoppers where I can use my SPG card. I pay my phone, internet, TV bills with SPG card too. this way i can maximize the points. I value the spg points at 5 cents/point, so I get 5% back for everything. no other card can bit it in my opinion.
