The family of Don is deeply
saddened to announce his sudden

Houston Texas.

Don was the second of seven children and
grew up in Oak Lake and took his schooling at

number 99 “The Great One”. After ending his
playing career in Europe he returned to his
adopted home of Houston were he went into
business owning a Sony store. Through record
and tape sales he met many great artists in the
music industry. For the last 25 years Don was
a respected Videographer covering all the
major sports teams in Houston including the
Rockets, Astros, Texans and the Dynamos.

There will be a private family burial at the
Oak Lake Cemetery on July 16, 2020 followed
by a Celebration of Life at the Oak Lake Legion
from 2-5. All are welcome. His great Houston
second family held a celebration previously in
November for “DART” as he was known as
from his playing days and from then on. The
Larway family that attended this special
gathering was overwhelmed by the large
turnout and very grateful to meet so many of
his friends and co-workers.
Those wishing may forward donations to the
Oak Lake and Area Foundation in Don’s name

Any questions, I will try to respond in a timely fashion.
Thank you from all the family.
