Andersson has been nothing short of awesome this season. I didn't know much about him before this season, other then what I read on CP. For a 2nd round D pick, to take the next step at the NHL level and excel is something else to watch.

I thought Valimaki had the better training camp and didn't think the Flames would roll with 2 rookie D. I'm sure glad they did. With Vali out, Andersson has been getting better each and every game. His points will come. And he's Swedish. Love me some Swedish players, especially Dmen. He' also got a bit of pest in him and likes to scrum it up.

He definitely has top 4 potential. God damn the Flames defence looks amazing now and for the future. 4 players all under 22, all of them excelling.

F'ing amazing! The team has a lot of lovable players this season, and Andersson is right up there.
