I think the X-Men movies have kind of run their course as well. There has already been six or seven and the mutants vs evil mutants vs humans stories have become played out and most of the X-Men heroes aren't nearly as compelling as the Avengers. I don't see why we need another X-Men movie for at least 3-4 years at the earliest.
