When I "remove downloads" the new icon vanishes, but the songs don't appear in the could like they used to.
I might try calling Support on the weekend.
Maybe I should never install updates when iTunes is already working the way I want it to.

iTunes does tend to piss me off, too. I've had to revert to an older version a few times now.
