We did the Grand Californian two years ago, great experience. Plus being able to get into the parks earlier each day (it alternates which one depending on the day) gave you that quick leg up to hit the popular rides over the crowds. Also quick to retreat in the heat of the day if the kids need some shade or a pool break.
