This is utterly laughable.
The notion that Monahan withheld injuries from the team is based solely on your own interpretation of a fairly cursory article from a news source that is not at a well connected within the NHL. It is just as likely that the Flames did not disclose all of Monahan’s injuries and their extent at the time of this reporting, or rather, that Sporting News was simply not well appraised of the situation.
