I would totally agree with that. So many bands popped up in the "Gothenburg" scene after Slaughter of the Soul... Anyone remember the days when Arch Enemy/In Flames were actually
heavy bands?
I heard that for At The Gates they considered Slaughter of the Soul to be their pinnacle and that was why they disbanded... in the sense that they couldnt top that album... I cant claim that as fact, just something I heard. Anyone know why they disbanded?
