How could anyone with reading comprehension beyond a Kindergarten level assume that
getting involved in said drama is what was meant? No, I mean when every third thing that shows up in /r/all involves either /r/place or related subreddit drama surrounding /r/place. Instead of sifting through the garbage, it's easier to just disconnect until it has run its course.
Think of it the same way as when Stampede is on and people opt to go on vacation or away to their cottages instead to avoid it.
