There used to be a magazine that came in the Saturday or Sunday Herald. One of the issues had a "Top in Canada" article, with rankings for maybe 100 or so different categories. I remember going through, looking for where Calgary was mentioned, and one was Top Rollerskating Rinks. In fact, Calgary had the top 3 - Lloyds, Rollerland, and Hollywood Roller Gardens.
I did some more searching to try to remember the name of that magazine (was it "Saturday Night"?), and found this article in the
Ottawa Citizen. It might be based on the same article, or maybe it is the same. The article says it is from "Today" magazine, but that doesn't ring any bells for me.
