I feel like that actually isn't EAs problem.
Every year I feel like they actually make a bunch of changes that make the game a much better experience.
Then a bunch of people complain about certain things, and how something about the gameplay is broken, since they can no longer spam certain moves or play the same as they did the year before.
Then the first tuner comes out with all the changes based on the feedback and it ends up just being the same game as the year before.
