Do you mean like cable where people have complained for years that they couldn’t unbundle channels they didn’t like.
I don’t think it’s unreasonable to have Netflix, Crave(HBO), Disney, Amazon and then someway to get sports in a cable cut world. That’s about $50 per month plus sports costs.
To expect to pay less than you did for cable just was never going to happen.
