Yeah this movie is the first one outside of probably End Game that you needed to have done homework before watching. Marvel in general had done a really good job of making previous instalments feel essential but not be necessary. This movie lost that balance because without Wandavision and I’d argue even WhatIf was huge you would have missed why Strange is the way he is and Wanda is the way she is.
