Default Habs Point Brayden to the exit

The Montreal Canadiens have trades top C Brayden Point to the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for Pierre Luc Dubois.

We feel that we gave up the much better offensive player in the deal. However we like the grit that Dubois brings. He will be a hard player to play against as he develops and that’s the model we are trying to build here.

We also want to build a top line of all French players for fun. With Huberdeau in the fold and the #1 pick in hand there is a good chance that we will see that in the near future.

We feel this was a swap that will benefit both teams. I feel like the Habs are a couple years away from being contenders so this deal also fits that direction while the Canucks will get a big influx of offence.
